Our Returns Promise

We offer a 15-day returns window from when your tools arrive at your workshop (home). Here’s how it works:

What Can Be Returned?

All items must be:

  • In original packaging (tools deserve their proper cases)
  • Unused and in resalable condition (no grease marks or workshop wear)
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (your order number works perfectly)

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on:

  • Opened lubrication products (like trying to put toothpaste back in the tube)
  • Custom or special order tools (these are made to your specs like a bespoke frame)
  • Items showing signs of installation or use (we can tell if a wrench has been turned, just like you can spot a used chainring)

The Returns Process (Smoother Than a Ceramic Bearing)

Step 2: Wait for Approval

Our team will respond within 2 working days (faster than adjusting a derailleur) with return instructions.

Step 3: Package Securely

Repack the item in its original packaging with all included materials (tools deserve proper protection).

Step 4: Ship It Back

Send the package to our Leeds workshop using a tracked service (we recommend the same care you’d use shipping a carbon frame).

Step 5: Inspection

We’ll check the item upon arrival (with the precision of checking bearing play).

Step 6: Refund or Exchange

Once approved, we’ll process your refund or ship your replacement.

Return Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The item arrived damaged
  • We sent the incorrect item

(In these cases, we’ll cover the costs like a good warranty).

For exchanges, we’ll cover the outbound shipping of your replacement item.

Refund Timeline & Methods

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days (about the time it takes to true a wobbly wheel)
  • Refund Method: Your original payment method (like reversing a pedal stroke)
  • Appearance in Your Account: Allow 5-10 business days depending on your bank (about as long as international shipping sometimes takes)

For PayPal payments, refunds typically appear within 24 hours of processing.

Exchanges

Need a different size or model? The process is the same as returns – just let us know in your email what you’d like instead. We’ll ship your replacement as soon as we process your return (no waiting for us to receive it first if you’re in a hurry).

Damaged or Incorrect Items
